Anambra loses N19.6bn every sit-at-home – Soludo

Former Central Financial institution Governor and candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) within the forthcoming governorship elections in Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Soludo has stated the State loses N19.6 billion on daily basis that it’s locked down.

Soludo acknowledged this at an enlarged assembly with Anambra State Elders and Stakeholders Discussion board, and Discussion board of Heads of Broadcast Media Stations in Anambra State.

He known as on the individuals spilling blood within the State to have a re-think as such actions don’t outline who Anambra individuals are.

“Anambra State economic system loses an estimated sum of N19.6 billion each time the sit-at-home directive is enforced within the state.

“Such actions don’t outline who we’re. That’s the reason we’re calling on these accountable to cease as a result of we’re hurting ourselves.”

Professor Soludo whereas calling on Ndi Anambra to be watchful, praised Governor Willie Obiano for what he known as excellent achievements.

“Governor Willie Obiano has delivered sustainable legacy tasks to Ndi Anambra together with the Anambra Worldwide airport, the Worldwide conference centre, Awka and the Awka stadium.”

He stated the governor has achieved properly regardless of overseeing two recessions and the state struggling dwindling federal allocations.
