The National chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Abdullahi Adamu, has said only God Almighty and President Muhammadu Buhari can stop the presidential ambition of the party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.
Naija News reports that the APC Chairman stated this on Thursday while speaking at a town hall meeting between Tinubu and stakeholders in the mining sector in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.
Adamu said following the endorsement of Tinubu’s presidential bid by God and Buhari, nothing can stop the former Governor of Lagos State from becoming the next President in 2023.
He said: “Except God, President Buhari is the highest authority in Nigeria today. Buhari has said it and it shall come to pass.”
Noting that he was merely echoing President Buhari’s statement, Adamu asked Tinubu to get ready to assume office as the next president of Nigeria from 29 May 2023.
He urged voters in Nasarawa and across the country to vote massively for the APC and its candidate, even as he asked Tinubu to get ready for the task to shoulder the demands of leading Nigeria.
