Shortly after the Super Eagles lost at the 2023 AFCON finals against Ivory Coast, Nigerian rapper, Blaqbonez, came online to make a post about the lackadaisical nature of the Super Eagles players during the whole tournament.
The artist came on the X social platform to comment on his ‘truth’ revealing that the Nigerian football team haven’t been playing as good as the nation posed them to be.
Recall that the Super Eagles triumphed through every stage, including winning at the semi-finals stage against South Africa, only to lose by one goal to Ivory Coast.
Blaqbonez saying his truth declared that “now that we’ve lost lets say the truth, we have been shit this whole tournament, anybody that knows football knows, all those fluke ass wins never moved me”
Some football enthusiasts share the same opinion as Blaqbonez, admitting that indeed, the whole tournament was a charade by the Super Eagles.
