A Nigerian soldier has sparked reactions online with an emotional video of him and his mother.
Naija News reports that in the video sighted online, the soldier was captured giving a military salute to his mother before they embraced each other.
According to the soldier, he was seeing his mother for the first time after one year of being on the frontline.
He captioned the video: “Seeing my mom again, after one year in frontline”
This generated reactions from many Nigerians as they commended the soldier, while tasking the government on the need to take care of security officers.
