“The scouting program was okay, and even though we are yet to know the particular players that were picked from their clubs, our team would continue to put our hope on God,” stated Suleman.

The player acknowledged the team’s effort in securing a draw in the match, highlighting their determination to stay competitive and avoid conceding goals.

Regarding the impact of the scouting program, Suleman believed that the scouts attended based on the positive relationship they shared with the chairman.

He expressed the view that the scouts came to assess the available talent and identify players they could potentially support and nurture.

Offering advice to grassroots footballers, Alabi Suleman encouraged players to believe in themselves, maintain a strong work ethic, exhibit discipline, and complement their efforts with prayers.

The combination of these elements, he suggested, would contribute to the overall development and success of players at the grassroots level.

As grassroots football continues to be a focal point for talent development, events like ‘A Minute in Lagos with Hull City Scouts‘ provide a platform for players to showcase their skills and catch the attention of scouts and football professionals.
