As Mikel Arteta prepares his men for a trip to St James Park in the Premier League, here’s the Arsenal predicted lineup vs Newcastle.

GK: David Raya. He kept a clean sheet in his last Premier League game, so he’s the favourite the start in this match. Particularly when you consider Aaron Ramsdale conceded three in midweek, Raya is still at the top of the hierarchy.
RB: Ben White. Scored an own-goal in midweek, but his confidence won’t be knocked too much as he’s had a great start to the season.
CB: William Saliba. Was rested in midweek, so he will surely start in this match.
CB: Gabriel. Completes the perfect centre back partnership. He did play in the Carabao Cup, but he should be relatively fresh and able to play in this match.
LB: Takehiro Tomiyasu. Had an excellent start to the season and he should be in contention to start this match ahead of Alex Zinchenko who hasn’t been as bright as Tomiyasu in recent matches. Coming up against Miguel Almiron, Tomiyasu is the better option from a defensive viewpoint.
