Atiku Meets Wike’s Ally, Jerry Gana, PDP Stakeholders [Photos]

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar, met with a delegation of the party stakeholders from Niger State.

Naija News reports that the delegation was led by a member of the PDP Board of Trustees (BoT) and an ally of Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Professor Jerry Gana.

It was learned that the former Vice President met with the PDP members at his Abuja residence on Wednesday afternoon.

In a tweet via his verified Twitter handle, Atiku said the meeting centred on issues of interest in promoting the growth of the party and ensuring that the PDP records a resounding success in the 2023 general elections.

He wrote, “It was my pleasure to host a delegation of PDP stakeholders from Niger State led by Professor Jerry Gana. We discussed issues of interest in promoting the growth of our party and ensuring that the PDP records a resounding success in the next year’s general election.”

Fayose’s Brother Declares Support For Peter Obi’s Presidential Ambition

Meanwhile, the younger brother of former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, Isaac, on Wednesday, declared support for the presidential ambition of the Labour Party (LP) flagbearer, Peter Obi.

Isaac, while speaking on his preferred presidential candidate ahead of the 2023 race, said he would vote for Obi.

He described the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) where his elder brother belongs as a dead party.

Isaac, in a post on his Facebook account, stated that he would be voting for the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress and incumbent governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu in 2023.

He wrote in the post on his social media space, “PDP National is a dead party! In Lagos, I am voting for Governor Babajide Sanwo Olu. My polling unit is on Admiralty way Lekki phase 1.

“For President, I am voting Mr Peter Obi.”
