Leon Balogun expresses satisfaction with his recent performance at Rangers under the guidance of the newly appointed manager, Philippe clement.

Balogun’s struggle for playing time was evident during the tenure of former boss Michael Beale, attributed to a combination of poor form and persistent injuries.

However, since the arrival of Clement, the CB has managed to secure a spot in Rangers’ starting lineup, featuring prominently in the team’s last three games across various competitions leading up to the international break.

The Nigerian defender credits his resurgence to the impact of Rangers’ new manager.

“That will factor in, but mainly it is down to the way he works which is really focused on details. He is just really into the details and that helps. The door is always open but again he is very clear as well and demanding.”

“I was needed, I also needed games. I am happy that I could take my chance there. For me it just helps that he is very clear.

Balogun reflected on his limited game time during the initial twelve weeks of the season, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the team’s recent successes.

“I am one of the older guys so obviously I have a bit of experience as well. For me it was just taking the messages on board just like any other player and then producing,” He concluded.
