Osimhen, who recently clinched the Serie A title with Napoli and earned the prestigious title of CAF African Footballer of the Year in 2023, has 21 goals for Nigeria.
The 25-year-old, stated that winning the continental championship might surpass all his previous achievements.
“would be one of the best moments” of his life,” He said ahead of Thursday clash with Cote d’Ivoire.
“I have done that with Napoli; I have made history, but no matter what I do, no matter how many goals I have scored, to be able to win the AFCON, I would go a long way in my life but probably when I do that, I am done,” he admitted.
“I am really looking forward to winning something with the Super Eagles.”
Victor Osimhen earned Nigeria a draw with his equalizer against Equatorial Guinea in the first game.
