Recently, Nigerian Breweries PLC hosted dignitaries, including top government functionaries and captains of industries, as well as family and friends, to an elegant send-forth cocktail and dinner party in honour of an industry titan and distinguished boardroom guru, Chief Kola Jamodu (CFR), the former chairman of the company who retired recently. Chief Kola Jamodu served on the company board for 17 years, with 15 years as board chairman.
Dignitaries in attendance include the Lagos State Governor, represented by His Deputy, Dr.Hamzat Kadiri, and his Edo State counterpart, Godwin Obaseki; the former Governor of Cross River State, Donald Duke; the former Inspector General of Police, Musiliu Smith; the former CBN Governor, Joseph Sanusi; and former Ministers and Diplomats, among others.
It was a night of outpourings of accolades as dignitaries showered encomiums on Jamodu for his resilience, exemplary leadership, and immense contributions to the growth and success of the company.
