A viral tweet that has been shared by several times on Twitter and blogs claimed that General T.Y Danjuma (Rtd) donated a private jet to the ObiDatti campaign in support of the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, and his running mate Dr. Yusuf Datti Baba-Ahmed.
This claim is false, How so? Here are our findings:
A member of the ObiDatti media team Dr. Ibrahim Biu has said that the news is fake and urged people to be careful of what they believe and share.
The Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi, also rebuffed the claim in a tweet, saying he had never received such an offer.

Our findings show that the claims of T.Y Danjuma donating a private jet to the ObiDatti campaign are false.
