Enyimba shift attention to NPFL after AFL ouster

Enyimba have resumed training ahead of their midweek fixture in the Nigeria Premier Football League.

The nine-time NPFL champions are billed to take on Niger Tornadoes on matchday six at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna, on Wednesday.

The People’s Elephant had a light training session on Saturday evening after returning from Casablanca for their African Football League clash with Wydad Athletic Club.

Enyimba were ousted from the competition 4-0 on aggregate by the Moroccans.

Finidi George’s side will be hoping to put behind them their disappointing ouster from the competition.

Enyimba have recorded one win from their opening two games in the NPFL.
