Odion Ighalo says Victor Osimhen would be a perfect fit for Manchester United, insisting the young Nigerian can combine well with Marcus Rashford.
Manchester United are said to be interested in signing Osimhen from Napoli and the striker made no secret of his love for the English Premier League.
Chelsea are also said to be keeping tabs on the striker, while PSG are also interested if Kylian Mbappe leaves.
Speaking to Sky Sports, Ighalo who himself had a brief spell with the Red Devils says, the £134 million-valued forward would have no problem flourishing at Man United, along side Rashford.
Osimhen has netted 19 goals and 3 assists in 21 league games for Napoli’s this season, while Rashford has 14 and 3 assists in 25 Premier League outing for Erik ten Hag’s men.
“I think it’s a good fit because he is young, he runs and he can score goals,” Ighalo said.
“Having Victor Osimhen and Rashford at Manchester United will cause any defender panic because they are two fast players and they are goalscorers.
“I think he will fit in Manchester United so well. If he asked for my opinion and what he should do, I would advise him to join Man United because, for me, they are the biggest club.”
Victor Osimhen is having a fantastic year with Partenopei, and was recently named the best foreign athlete in Italy in 2022.
