Former Manchester United attacker, Dimitar Berbatov, has urged the Red Devils to sign Chelsea’s Mason Mount if they fail to sign Dortmund’s Jude Bellingham this summer.
Bellingham has been linked with a move away from Dortmund this summer, with Man United and Liverpool linked with the England international.
Speaking to Betfred, Berbatov said: “Mason Mount is a talent, and I like to see young players making the next step and the next challenge of moving to a bigger club.
“He is at a big club already, of course, but let’s say if Manchester United can’t sign Jude Bellingham, then why should not they sign Mason Mount?”
Mount, 24, has been one of Chelsea’s best players in the past few seasons.
He played a crucial role in Chelsea’s 2021 Champions League triumph, providing the assist for Kai Havertz’s goal during the final against Manchester City.
