EPL: He’s brilliant – Neville compares Arsenal attacker with Rooney, Tevez

Former Manchester United captain, Gary Neville has compared Arsenal’s Gabriel Jesus with former Red Devils attackers Wayne Rooney and Carlos Tevez.

Neville said Jesus is a brilliant footballer, adding that he has a bit of both Rooney and Tevez’s attributes.

Jesus has scored just three goals and provided one assist across 13 Premier League games for Arsenal so far this season.

Speaking after Arsenal drew 1-1 with Liverpool in Saturday’s Premier League tie, Neville insisted that he
loves the Brazil international.

“I love Jesus. I really love him, honestly,” Neville said on his podcast.

“I think he is a brilliant player and I would have loved to play with him.

“He’s got a bit of Wayne Rooney in him, a bit of Carlos Tevez in him.”

He added, “But he has not got that instinct in front of goal. Sometimes, he is everywhere where you don’t want him.”
