Former Arsenal star, Sol Campbell has predicted the likely winner of this season’s Premier League title.
The former Premier League defender is of the opinion that the Gunners stand the chance of being crowned champions in May if they are able to brush aside Liverpool at Anfield on Sunday.
Arsenal has opened up an eight point lead over champions Manchester City ahead of this weekend’s fixture. Though the Citizens have a game in hand.
Arsenal have not won at Anfield since Arteta was still part of Arsene Wenger’s team but will be meeting them in a very poor form on Sunday
“I think Mikel Arteta’s Gunners are in the same mindset going into tomorrow’s game against, of all teams, Liverpool, on the same date,” he told The Sun.
“I do believe that if they win at Liverpool tomorrow it would take something absolutely catastrophic for Arsenal not to be lifting the Premier League trophy at the end of next month.”
