Falcons Must Adapt Quickly to Weather — Waldrum

The Super Falcons held their first official training session at the Lions FC training pitch on Tuesday.

Speaking with the media, Waldrum says:

“It was a good training session, it was intense, and the players got on with it. Obviously we got the chance to work on some other tactics and 11 against 11 today.”

Waldrum also disclosed the the girls should be ready for for the tournament opener against Canada.

“The weather will be a bit colder, it’s a 12:30 mid day game, we have to adapt quickly and that could help.

“However you are playing at the world cup you have to be ready and play in any element.”

“I’m sure the players are prepared and ready, they understand our game plan, we just have to execute them,” He concluded.
