FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup qualifiers: Nigeria draw Burundi in Second Round

In the draw ceremony at the CAF Headquarter, Friday, Nigeria will host the first leg on October 6, and travel to Burundi for the second leg on October 15.

The winners over the two legs will advance to the third round of the qualifiers slated for between November 12 to November 19.

Falconets reached the semi-final in the last edition of the World Cup and will be aiming to qualify for the next edition to be hosted by Costa Rica.

The team recently finished as second runners up at just concluded WAFU B U20 Women’s Championship, losing 3-1 to Ghana in final.

Meanwhile, Ghana will await the winners of the clash between Togo and Guinea Bissau.
