Speaking to Sports247 in an exclusive interview, Tulo highlighted the significance of the win against Nigeria and the team’s mindset heading into the next game.

“It was actually a wonderful game playing against Nigeria. They are our neighbors, and then the rivalry is always there, so we’ll continue another time,” Tulo remarked, acknowledging the intense rivalry between the two neighboring countries.

Despite the competitive nature of the match, Tulo emphasized the camaraderie between the two teams, portraying a sense of mutual respect and sportsmanship.

“We knew it was not going to be an easy game, but we just came to enjoy it. If we win, fine. If Nigeria wins, fine. We see ourselves as brothers, so whoever wins, is fine. We just came to enjoy,” he explained.

Looking ahead to the upcoming clash with Egypt, Tulo acknowledged the formidable challenge posed by their next opponent. “Egypt is a top side. We need to be prepared mentally and physically.

We have seen our mistakes from our previous matches. We are working on them, and we believe that by the time we finally meet Egypt, we’ll be well prepared to face them,” he stated.

As Ghana gears up for their encounter with Egypt, Tulo’s words reflect the team’s determination to learn from their past performances, address their shortcomings, and approach the upcoming match with confidence and preparedness.
