The Ogun State Police Command has arrested a pastor with the Christ Liberty Evangelism Church, Oyenekan Oluwaseyi, and three others with a human skull in the Saje Area of Abeokuta.
Naija News learnt that Oluwaseyi, alongside 30-year-old Ibrahim Agbowewe, 40-year-old Suleiman Ogunbunmi, and 57-year-old Gafari Akinsanya, were arrested in the early hours of Saturday.
A source in the command told PUNCH that the suspects were arrested following a tip-off from members of the public about their suspicious movement and activities in the area.
Following the intelligence, policemen were said to have stormed the area and arrested the suspects, who claimed they had intended to use the skull for rituals.
Items recovered from the suspects include one big calabash, one black Toyota Camry car, and one ram.
Confirming the arrest, the state Police Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, said the four suspects had confessed to the crime.
She said, “We arrested the four of them. They have since confessed they wanted to use the head for blessings and money rituals. The investigations are ongoing to unravel more details about the incident.”
Prophet Cries Out After Estranged Wife Changes Children’s Surname
In other news, the founder of Divine Prophetic Solutions Prayers Ministry, Prophet Theophilus Ayodeji Obayan, has cried out for help after his estranged wife, Prophetess Chibuzor Lilian Obayan, married a church worker in his ministry.
Obayan, who dragged his estranged wife to a Grade ‘A’ Customary Court, sued her for the dissolution of his 23-year-old marriage and to reclaim the paternity of his four children.
The Prophet told the court that Lilian changed the surname of his children to her new husband’s name, Prince Abua Obi.
