I expected her to cry – Black Coffe recounts ex-wife’s ungrateful reaction to car gift

South African artiste, Black Coffe has recounted how his estranged wife, Enhle Mbali’s “ungrateful” reaction to an expensive car he bought for her during their marriage left him disappointed.

Speaking in a recent interview with Kaya 959, the Grammy-winning DJ revealed that after presenting his gift to his woman, the reaction he got was unexpected.

He stated that the event made him feel as though his efforts were not valued or appreciated.

“The response wasn’t what I expected; she wasn’t excited. I expected her to even cry, but she was just like; ‘Oh, nice, thank you.’ And it sat with me heavily for a long time as someone who was not appreciating,” he said.

Recall that Black Coffe and Mbali’s marriage ended in 2019 after she accused the record producer of infidelity and abuse.

The ‘We Dance Again’ DJ fathered two children with other women while the couple was married.
