“I Have To Wear My Mask For The Rest Of My Football Career”- Victor Osimhen Reveals Necessity Of Wearing V09 Mask in Matches

The Nigerian striker explained in a recent interview that the decision stems from a previous injury, revealing that he still has two screws in his jaw and face.

“I have to wear my mask for the rest of my football career because I still have 2 screws in my jaw and face,” Osimhen disclosed.

He went on to recount an incident in the last match against Cagliari, where a clash with the goalkeeper resulted in bleeding even with the protective mask.

“In the last match against Cagliari, when I headed the ball, the goalkeeper hit my face and I bled even with the mask. So it’s too dangerous for me not to use it. I have to keep on using it,” Osimhen emphasized.

The revelation provides insight into the necessity of the mask as a safety measure, ensuring that Osimhen can continue to compete at the highest level without compromising his well-being.

The V09 mask, which has become a distinctive feature of Osimhen’s on-field attire, serves as an important protective gear to prevent further injury to his jaw and face.
