Joeboy unveils tracklist for his upcoming album “Body & Soul” »

Nigerian Afrobeat superstar, Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, popularly known as Joeboy, has revealed the tracklist for his upcoming sophomore album ‘Body & Soul‘.

On May 15, 2023, Joeboy took to his social media page to unveil the track list for his upcoming sophomore album ‘Body & Soul‘. The 15-song tracklist includes previously released tracks including “Alcohol,” “Body & Soul,” “Contour,” and “Duffel Bag.”

Joeboy is one of the top Nigerian musicians who introduced Afrobeats to the world, and his highly anticipated sophomore album will help him build on his success.

On “Body & Soul,” a multitude of musicians are featured as Joeboy aims for aural complexity and mainstream appeal.

Nigerian superstars CKay and Oxlade, who have both seen enormous success internationally, feature on the album. Afro-fusion superstar BNXN, Hip Hop icon Odumodublvck, legendary producer Tempoe, and emerging artist Kemena were also included.

Agba Oli Ekun, a content producer, will also provide an interlude for listeners to enjoy. In other countries, Joeboy has a feature from seasoned American rapper Ludacris on the song “Chicken, Spice, and Curry.”

Following the release of his debut album, “Somewhere Between Beauty and Madness,” in 2021, Joeboy would release his second album, “Body & Soul.”

The album already boasts quality songs in the form of the megahit record ‘Alcohol‘ and the critically acclaimed ‘Contour‘.

The much-awaited album is scheduled for release on May 17 20233 and is expected to compete for the title of the greatest album of 2023.
