He went on to lose 7-4 to Luke Humphries but has already been tipped for huge success in the sport in the years to come.

Aside from the arrows, Littler is a huge fan of WWE, with his visit to Wrestlemania 33 in 2017 inspiring his decision to make ‘Greenlight’ by Pitbull his walkout music.

The wrestling promotion company have even invited him to attend their show at The O2 Arena in London on April 19, a night where he could meet WWE royalty.

On Wednesday, Cena posted an image of Littler during his inspiring run at the World Championship on Instagram without a caption.

This comes just days after the darts star took to X to post two throwback videos of him that show his love for WWE.

One is a clip of him impersonating Cena in a hotel room, belt in hand as the wrestler’s iconic theme ‘You Can’t See Me’ rings out.

Another is him at Wrestlemania 33 and he can be seen singing along to ‘Greenlight’ as it played in the background.

Littler could be set for the VIP treatment in London in April, and a crossover with Cena is surely something he’d love to see happen.

He will feature in the tournament with seven other darts stars, including Michael van Gerwen and world champion Humphries.
