Josh Maja proved his performance this season is no fluke as he netted a brace for Girondins Bordeaux against Caen, in the French Ligue 2 on Tuesday night.
It was Maja’s second brace of the season in the division this season, and it takes his goal tally to ten.
The forward now tops the scorer’s chart, two more than his nearest challenger Côte d’Ivoire’s Jean-Philippe Krasso.
On the night, Maja broke the deadlock for Bordeaux just 4 minutes into the game and added his second Twenty-one minutes later.
Bordeaux however dropped the ball in the second half and allowed Caen snatch a point from losing position.

Bordeaux remain second place (32 points) on the league table, seven points adrift leaders Le Havre (39 points).
