Luton Town have aimed a savage dig at Burnley goalkeeper James Trafford and seemingly accused him of wasting time during last night’s dramatic 1-1 draw.

Rob Edwards’ side rescued a controversial point at the death at Turf Moor after Carlton Morris headed home deep inside second-half stoppage time.

The equaliser was allowed to stand despite an apparent foul on Trafford, who had rushed out to claim a cross but was knocked to the ground by Elijah Adebayo.

Unsurprisingly, the visitors, led by boss Vincent Kompany, furiously protested the decision, only for the appeals to fall on deaf ears. Shortly after, the final whistle blew.

Now, Luton’s wily social media team have rubbed salt in the wound on TikTok.

Hilariously, the club’s official account posted a string of clips showing Trafford falling to the ground and laying on the ball, seemingly to slow play down at 1-0.

But the video, which was sound tracked by a remix of Britney Spears’ ‘Oops!… I Did It Again’ that repeated the word ‘oops’, then quickly cut to Morris’ pinpoint header.

Rounding off the compilation, Luton stopper Thomas Kaminski was shown wasting time in the other area, allowing the Hatters to hold on to an invaluable result.

Post-match, Kompany vented his anger at the decision to allow the equaliser.

‘I’m just thinking,’ he said. ‘Look at what happened to us (with decisions) at Aston Villa. Bournemouth away. Nottingham Forest away. What are we doing? It’s a joke.

‘How many times is it going to keep happening? Remember when the Tottenham-Liverpool incident happened? That dragged on for weeks. Look at the reality of our situation and it doesn’t drag on for weeks. We have to speak up.

IT’S ALL KICKING OFF!

It’s All Kicking Off is an exciting new podcast from Mail Sport that promises a different take on Premier League football, with a show every Monday and Thursday this season.

It is available on MailOnline, Mail+, YouTube , Apple Music and Spotify

‘He’s looked at the goalkeeper, backs into him, looks at the referee to see if he gets away with it, and none of the Luton players celebrate.

‘It might be a good thing to have a few days off. I want to fight for this sport. The referee’s missing something we all see comes from a general confusion.’

Morris, however, disagreed and insisted goalkeepers are overprotected.

‘Yeah, but to be honest I’ve seen a couple of them, I think goalkeepers get protection but it’s a bit soft. Pleased [they] saw sense with this one,’ he told TNT Sports.

‘Never a foul. Big fella outjumped him. I’m glad he did as it gave me a big chance.’
