Man Utd Makes Decision On Appealing Casemiro's Red Card

Manchester United has reportedly decided not to appeal the red card given to Casemiro in their match against Southampton. The Brazilian midfielder will miss the next four games.

Referee Anthony Taylor showed Casemiro a straight red card with 11 minutes left before the interval. Taylor had initially produced a yellow card for the tackle, but upon VAR review, he upgraded it to a straight red card.

The decision not to appeal the red card comes as a blow to Manchester United, who are currently fighting for a top-four finish in the Premier League and the Europa League, where they face Real Betis in the last 16 stage. Casemiro is expected to be a key absentee in these games.

The news of Casemiro’s absence will also disappoint Manchester United fans who have seen the Brazilian midfielder play a crucial role in their team’s recent resurgence in form. Nevertheless, Manchester United will have to move on and find a way to cope without Casemiro as they look to finish the season strongly.
