The new South Korean action movie `Ballerina’, is now streaming on Netflix worldwide.
As Kpop, Korean films like Parasite and Minari, and Korean television series sweep the world by storm, the South Korean entertainment sector is steadily expanding to become the most powerful in the world.
Chung-Hyun Lee, known for past works such as The Call and the miniseries Born to Spy, directed and wrote Ballerina.
The narrative centers on the former bodyguard Ok-ju, who, while lamenting the loss of her closest friend, whom she was unable to shield, embarks on a mission to carry out the victim’s last wish: to exact retribution.
The R-rated film’s cast also features Shin Se-hwi, Park Yu-rim, Kim Moo-yul, and Jun Jong-seo.
