No Chance for Osimhen! Cassano rates Martinez best Striker in Serie A

Former Real Madrid and AS Roma forward Antonio Cassano, believes Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez is better than the in form Victor Osimhen.

While highlighting the qualities of both players, Cassano admitted that Osimhen is head and shoulders above everyone in the League this season, but insists Martinez is better overall.

Osimhen is the leading the scorer in the division, with ten goals and three assists for Napoli in 14 matches, while Martinez has eight goals and three assists, although the Argentine has played 4 matches more.

“If we talk about form, obviously Osimhen is the best in the league. But in terms of absolute quality, the strongest is Lautaro Martinez,” Cassano told Bobo TV.

Both strikers were on parade when Inter Milan and Napoli clashed at the San Siro few days ago, and it was Martinez and his teammates who came out on top.

“If I had to choose between the two, I would take the Argentine, who is very strong, has the quality and moves well,” He said.

All eyes will be on Osimhen again on Friday, when Napoli host Juventus in a top of the table clash at the Estadio Diego Armando Maradona.
