NPFL postpones Rivers United vs Niger Tonardoes matchday 22 tie

The Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) have postponed the matchday 22 fixture involving Rivers United and Niger Tornadoes, DAILY POST reports.

The encounter was initially scheduled to take place on Wednesday 28th March, 2024, at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.

It has now been moved to a later date to be decided by the NPFL.

The NPFL announced that the postponement was necessitated due to Rivers United CAF Confederation Cup engagement.

The Pride of Rivers will do battle with Dreams FC of Ghana in their final group this weekend.

The game is billed for the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo, on Sunday, March 3rd, 2024.

The Port Harcourt club need a win from the game to book their passage into the quarter-finals.
