Onuachu make cameo appearance, Aribo benched as Southampton blows two-goals lead at Arsenal

Paul Onuachu was on for just 13 minutes as Southampton were forced to 3-3 draw by Arsenal at the Emirates on Friday night.

The lanky forward replaced Adam Armstrong with Southampton leading 3-1.

It was the 28-year-old’s nineth Premier League appearances for the Saints since his winter move from Belgian giants KRC Genk.

The Nigerian international however is still waiting for his first goal contribution for the relegation threatened side.

Meanwhile his compatriot Joe Aribo didn’t get a taste of action as he was among the unused substitutes at the Emirates.

Aribo’s Southampton career has completely nosedived since the sacking Ralph Hassenhultti by the club.

Aribo a summer signing from Rangers has played just 20 games, scoring two goals.
