Osun State authorities has refuted claims that there was a plan to assassinate the Minister of Inside and former governor of the state, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola.
NAIJATABLOID had reported that the Rasaq Salinsile faction of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Osun State on Tuesday alleged the invention of a plot to kill Aregbesola.
Abiodun Agboola, Osun APC Publicity Secretary, had stated the alleged plot to have Aregbesola killed concerned an ambush to be laid for his entourage as they go to the Iwo Federal Constituency on Tuesday.
He was quoted as saying, ”We’re saying by default due to the plan is to place ambush for the minister’s entourage and deal it massive assaults on his strategy to go to Iwo on Tuesday,’’
