Paris 2024: Super Falcons open camp for South Africa Sunday

The Super Falcons of Nigeria will begin preparations for their 2024 Olympic Games final round qualifier against South Africa on Sunday.

Head coach Randy Waldrum has already invited 22 players for the two-leg contest.

The squad dominated by foreign-based players will assemble in Abuja on Sunday to begin preparations for the crunch fixture.

Regular stars, Asisat Oshoala, Chiamaka Nnadozie, Rasheedat Ajibade, Ashleigh Plumptre, Michelle Alozie and Toni Payne are among the players invited by Waldrum.

The Super Falcons are looking to make a return to the Olympics after a 16-year absence.

The first leg will take place at the Moshood Abiola Stadium, Abuja, on Friday, April 5.

The two teams will clash in the reverse fixture in Pretoria on Tuesday April 9.
