Patrick Mahomes had high praise for Travis Kelce as his star tight-end enjoyed another standout game in front of new girlfriend Taylor Swift.

Swift was once again in attendance at Arrowhead Stadium to watch new flame Kelce as the Kansas City Chiefs continued their Super Bowl defence.

Mahomes and Kelce combined for 12 receptions, 179 yards and one touchdown as the Kansas City Chiefs beat the Los Angeles Chargers to move to 6-1 for the season.

The one-yard touchdown pass saw Mahomes and Kelce move to fourth in the all-time list of quarterback-tight end duos, a record held by New England Patriots greats Tom Brady and Rob Gronkowski.

The game also saw Kelce join Hall of Famer Shannon Sharpe as only the second tight-end in NFL history to rack up at least five games with over 150-plus receiving yards.

Reflecting on a stellar individual performance to mark National Tight-End Day, Kelce’s post-match interview with CBS Sports was gate-crashed by Mahomes in comical fashion.

“Greatest of all time, baby!” screamed Mahomes, much to Kelce’s amusement.

Sunday night’s 31-17 victory was Mahomes’ 10th career game with at least 400 passing yards.

Mahomes completed the feat in only his 87th career game, the fastest mark by any other player in NFL history.

Next up for the Chiefs is a road trip to Mile High Stadium to face the Denver Broncos (2-5).
