Former Governor of Ekiti state, Ayodele Fayose has been attacked by Nigerians on social media after commenting on the present situation of the country.

The recent happenings in the country have left most Nigerians infuriated and frustrated as they complain about how life keeps getting hard and difficult.

From the scarcity of fuel, to hike in fuel prices, hike in prices of food provisions, high dollar rate, ASUU strike, the collapse of the power grid, which has led to lack of supply of electricity, the increased killings, amongst others.

Reacting to the current state of the Nigerian nation, the former governor via his micro-blogging handle, lamented about the current situation, adding that he had in 2015 warned about the impending dangers a Buhari presidency would cause.

He also recalled how he was attacked and insulted, noting that he has been vindicted.

In his words; “My voice was the loudest in 2015 against the inherent danger of a Buhari presidency. No one listened. Rather, I was attacked and insulted. Today, water, don pass Garri, as i am daily vindicted”

However, Nigerians were not having any of it as they stormed the comment section to slam the former governor over his deeds while he was in power.
