Remo Stars forward Sikiru Alimi says he is delighted to be back in action following an injury lay-off.
The veteran forward came in as a second half substitute in Remo Stars’ 1-0 win over Bayelsa United on Saturday.
Alimi picked up a groin injury towards the end of the first half in the 2023-24 Nigeria Premier Football League season.
He currently tops the NPFL goal scorers chart with 11 goals this season.
“Feels good to be back…officially let’s start the second Stanza.” He wrote on his X handle.
Remo Stars moved top of the NPFL table following their win in Ikenne.
