Governor Siminalayi Fubara has congratulated his immediate predecessor, Nyesom Wike, on his 56th birthday.
Fubara, in a post on his verified X handle, said he, his wife and the people of the state are felicitating with the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT.
The governor, who is currently in a face-off with Wike over the political crisis rocking the state, prayed to God to grant the former governor joy and happiness in his new age.
The post reads, “I congratulate my oga, His Excellency, Chief (Dr) Barrister, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, the immediate past governor of Rivers State and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT on his 56th birthday today, December 13, 2023.
“Your excellency, my dear wife, I and the good people of Rivers State join your family and friends to felicitate you on this day.
“We sincerely pray that your new age brings you joy and happiness”.
