Rivers United forward, Nyima Nwagua has solicited for fans support in the new year.
Nwagua promised that the team will continue pushing to achieve better results in 2024.
Rivers United reached the semi finals of the CAF Confederation Cup last year.
The Pride of Rivers are currently in contention to qualify from their group for the next round of the competition in the 2023-24 campaign.
“It’s been lots of doings in 2023. The ups and downs, we still make memories. We are here pushing,” he told the club’s media.
“We are grateful to the fans that supported us in 2023; we can still do this in 2024. Thank you for standing by us.
“2024 is going to be the best.”
Rivers United will lock horns with Gombe United in their first league game of the year at the Pantami Stadium in Gombe.
