Tella Inspires Leverkusen Comeback Win Over RB Leipzig

Tella struck in the 47th minute to cancel out Leipzig’s opening goal scored by Xavi Simons.

It was the Nigerian’s second goal in nine league games for the German Bundesliga leaders.

Tella, who started the game from the bench, was introduced in the 37th minute, replacing the injured Jeremie Frimpong.

Just two minutes into the second half, the Winger capitalized on Alex Grimaldo’s pass swiftly restoring parity.

However, Leipzig regained the lead with Lois Openda finding the net in the 57th minute.

The seesaw battle continued as Jonathan Tah equalized for Leverkusen just six minutes later.

However, Leverkusen sealed their comeback victory in added time, courtesy of Piero Hincapie to keep their unbeaten run in the league.
