The tragic incident involving Prophet Remilekun Oriyomi of the Celestial Church of Christ Shogbamu Parish in the Gbagada area of Lagos State has shocked many. The prophet, who had gone missing, was discovered dead at a beach in Lagos State.
Reports indicate that the youths of the church had organized a Valentine’s love feast at the Beach Resort in Ogombo, Lagos State, on February 17, 2024. Despite warnings from the shepherd, Prophet Oriyomi, advising against the journey, the parish youths proceeded with their plan.
Prophet Oriyomi, along with 15 other youths, attended the beach hangout. Tragically, during the event, he went missing. Despite efforts to locate him, his body was found on Monday, February 19, after a frantic search.
The incident serves as a sobering reminder of the importance of heeding warnings and exercising caution, especially in potentially dangerous situations. It also underscores the need for communities to come together to support one another in times of tragedy and loss.
