Chelsea have announced the signing of 17-year-old defender Ishe Samuels-Smith from Everton.
The Blues have paid £4million to land the young full-back and England Under-21 international, who is a gem of Everton’s academy.
Chelsea beat competition from Man City to sign the talented teenager, who admitted he has been left stunned by the move to Stamford Bridge.
Samuels-Smith said: “It was a shock to me because it all happened quickly, but I’m really glad to be here.
“It’s going to be a good experience coming into such a big club.
“It will be a new challenge because there are top players here, so I am going to have to adapt quickly and get through the levels.”
