Football expert Mark Goldbridge has told Manchester United forward Anthony Martial that only a stupid club would want to sign him.
Goldbridge, in his latest online column, according to talkSPORT, said that no club would want to sign a player who spends six months nursing injuries.
The French forward is one of the top earners at Old Trafford, with a current salary of £250,000 per week and £13,000,000 annually.
He spent the majority of last season on the sidelines with a knee injury.
“Another player as well we are stuck with on a huge wage is Anthony Martial. To be blunt, how stupid would a football club out there be to buy a guy who was injured six times last year?” he said.
“He’s unsellable unless United do what other clubs have in the past and write it off and pay off his contract.
“I can’t see what United are going to do with him; I can’t see him going or being part of the plans either. He’s another player who will hang around for another year, and we’ll lose him on a free.”
