Transfer: Nigerian striker pens contract extension at Russian club, FC Krasnodar

Former Flying Eagles forward, Olakunle Olusegun has extended his contract with Russian club, FC Krasnodar, until 2028.

Olusegun’ s previous contract with Krasnodar was due to expire in 2026.

The Bulls have now decided to reward him with a new contract after settling down well at the club.

The 21-year-old joined Krasnodar from Bulgarian outfit Botev Plodiv in June 2022 on a permanent basis after previously spending time on loan at the club.

Olusegun has scored nine goals and provided eight assists in 62 appearances for the Black and Greens.

He represented Nigeria at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup in Brazil.
