North London rivals Tottenham and Arsenal are bracing themselves for a transfer tug of war for Wolves winger Pedro Neto.
As talkSPORT reported earlier this week, Wolves are willing to sell Neto to a club playing in the Champions League providing they can generate a club record £60million transfer fee.
Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta is a long-standing admirer of Neto while the Gunners’ sporting director Edu has a close relationship with the Portuguese’s agent Jorge Mendes.
Spurs counterpart Ange Postecoglu would also be keen to sign the 23-year-old speedster.
Neto has scored three goals and provided ten assists in 18 league and cup games this season.
The forward has 14 goals and 23 assists in 129 appearances for Wolves since his arrival from Lazio in 2019.
Blues farewell
Thiago Silva’s Chelsea career looks to be coming to an end.
The 39-year-old fan favourite is out of contract at the end of the season and there is little sign of the Brazilian being handed a new deal.
Silva’s wife Bella had to apologise after a social media post in which she appeared to call for manager Mauricio Pochettino to be sacked in the wake of Chelsea’s recent 4-2 defeat at home to Wolves.
Despite Bella’s antics, the relationship between Silva and Pochettino is understood to be good, but Chelsea are keen to build their future around younger players.

Zaha heading home?
Keep your eyes peeled for a potential Premier League return for Wilfried Zaha this summer.
The Crystal Palace icon was on the radar of several clubs during the January transfer window including West Ham and Aston Villa.
But Ivory Coast international Zaha was reluctant to leave Galatasary after only half a season.
The 31-year-old is likely to be more open to offers once he has completed a full year in Turkey.
Zaha rejected a contact that would have made him Palace’s highest-paid player to leave Selhurst Park last summer, and has ten goals and five assists in all competitions this season for Galatasaray.

Going nowhere
Norwich blocked highly-rated midfielder Liam Gibbs from leaving Carrow Road during the January transfer window, talkSPORT understands.
Academy product Gibbs was Norwich’s Young Player of the Year last season but has found it hard to force his way into boss David Wagner’s starting XI this term.
Championship rivals Sheffield Wednesday were among the clubs who wanted to take Gibbs, 20, on loan.
But Wagner was not prepared to sanction the deal, despite his lack of game time.
