VIDEO : South Africa’s public service unions march through streets for higher salaries

Public sector trade unions in South Africa called for a one-day national strike to be held next week after talks with the government over wages collapsed.

The unions, representing hundreds of thousands of workers, vowed to stage picket lines and demonstrations outside hospitals, ports and government offices.
