Shuaibu stated, “Yeah, I think we have shown that we are actually a giant of Africa as far as sport is concerned.” His statement reflects the country’s impressive performance in the games and its reputation as a powerhouse in African sports.

However, Shuaibu also acknowledged the need for improvement in certain sports where other African countries, such as Egypt and South Africa, are making significant strides. He emphasized the importance of continuous development and adaptation to maintain Nigeria’s leading position.

Despite the challenges, Shuaibu remains optimistic about Nigeria’s future in sports. He declared, “As far as Nigeria is concerned, it will continue to dominate.” This statement underscores his belief in the country’s potential and resilience in the face of competition.

Shuaibu also expressed his anticipation for the performances of athletes Tobi Amusan and Brume. He said, “And today my joy will be for Tobi Amusan to set a new world record again, and Brume.” His comments highlight the high expectations for these athletes and the hope for their continued success on the global stage.
