‘We can’t be complacent against Sporting Lagos’ – Tornadoes coach Mohammed

Niger Tornadoes head coach Majin Mohammed has warned his players against complacency in their clash against Sporting Lagos.

Mohammed urged his wards to build on Sunday’s impressive away victory in Yenagoa.

He pointed out that the reinforcements made by the Tech Boys would not stop his team from securing the maximum points in the game.

Niger Tornadoes will battle against Sporting Lagos in a matchday 25 fixture at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Wednesday.

“The away win would amount to nothing if we fail to keep it watertight in our home games,” he stated in his address to the players.

“We are not there yet, because we have some ground to cover to be able to remain afloat and maintain our NPFL status.”

Niger Tornadoes currently occupy 16th position on the table.
