Former senior special adviser to former Lagos state governor, Babatunde Fashola, Prince Abdul- Akeem Animashaun, has said with total confidence, that the forthcoming YEEAGGO football fiesta, for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, will shake the entire Lagos state and its environs.
The football tournament was put together by the chairman of Ajeromi Ifelodun local government, Honourable Fatai Adekunle Ayoola and supported by SSA on Sports, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka before the 2023 election and aimed at mobilising youths to come together as one, to make sure APC won the presidential tickets.

The LOC, chairman, Adeboye Anthony Adeyinka, who paid a courtesy visit to the office of the Ifelodun chairman, and later to the Maracana and Odion Ighalo playing pitches, venues of the games, said he is heavily impressed with the facilities on the ground for one of the biggest football tournaments in the country.
“I want to say without any iota of doubt, that this tournament will be one of the biggest and most packaged football events that will take place this year,” he said.
“As the chairman of the LOC and with the wealth of experience I have gathered over the years, everyone should watch out for a great tournament in December” he added.
“We all know the youths are the bedrock of every nation, that is why we mobilized them through football for the elections and by the grace of God, we achieved success at the end of the day” he concluded.
The YEEAGGO football fiesta is poised to mobilize over ten thousand youths, promising a spirited display of talent and fostering a sense of unity and purpose among the participants.
The kickoff is scheduled for December 9th at the Institute Mini Football Stadium.
Football enthusiasts and political observers alike can anticipate an electrifying event that goes beyond sports, aiming to resonate with the aspirations of the youth in the political landscape of Lagos.
