Yuletide: Bauchi Gov, Mohammed reiterates commitment to protecting lives, property

Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, says his administration is committed to protecting lives and property of people living in the state.

He made the pledge in his goodwill message on the occasion of 2023 Christmas celebration on Monday in Bauchi.

The governor said the state government is synergizing with security agencies to tackle real and perceived threats to security of lives and property of the citizenry, by providing logistics and other support for effective and efficient operations.

He said “let me assure you that as we commence our second term after receiving your massive support during the elections conducted earlier this year, we will work harder than we did during our first tenure to provide more dividends of democracy.”

He listed infrastructure, education, health, economic empowerment and all other programmes that have direct bearing on socio-economic wellbeing as areas that would receive a boost.
