Zaidu Sanusi wanted by PL Club in January

In a bid to strengthen their squad English Premier League side, West Ham United is intensifying efforts to secure the services of left-back, Zaidu Sanusi in the January transfer window.

The Hammers seek to fill the void left by the departure of Aaron Cresswell, with Sanusi their ideal replacement.

While David Moyes currently has former Chelsea player Emerson in the left-back position, suggests that the manager is actively advocating for an upgrade in the New Year.

Hammers scouts, diligently exploring potential options have reportedly been impressed by Zaidu Sanusi.

Technical director Tim Steidten, a long-time admirer of the player, has been closely monitoring his performances.

Having recently returned from injury, Sanusi showcased his skills in Porto’s last two games, with West Ham representatives reportedly in attendance.

The 26-year-old boasts a record of seven goals in 118 appearances for Porto, previously plying his trade with the lesser-known Portuguese club Santa Clara.

With 15 caps for Nigeria since his international debut in 2020, Sanusi presents a promising prospect for West Ham United in their pursuit of defensive reinforcements.
